It has been so windy here the past couple of days! DH is still painting the lounge room. It's looking nice and fresh. When it's done, I will take a photo to show. Still working and enjoying it. Not much news to tell.

Hello! Sorry i haven't updated in the past week. I have joined the workforce - temporarily - for the Australian Electoral Commission. I love it! Today I finished early so am home and can look at the computer!
I am doing an ATC swap at the moment and have done the front of the cards, now I just have to do the back and can send them off.

cleaning up

This was a couple of nights ago. I hired a skip and were cleaning up after work. DH is cutting up the old corrugated iron to throw out. I love the sparks!! kind of like have a huge sparkler!

ATC

This is an ATC (artist trading card). It was created for me by Saimba from BB when we did an ATC swap. Isn't it fantastic??!! On the crown is stamped princess which is kind of my nickname on BB.

Obviously, this is about my sister. She makes/sews/beads the most beautiful wedding gowns. I preferred to do this layout in the "simple" style as the "arty" style just didn't suit the classic style.

This is when my sister Barbara flew to Sydney for work and we met her there while we stayed there for a week.
This is in Noosa when we were there on holidays in May this year.

These are some layouts that I have done over the past couple of days. I had a very productive day today seeing as I didn't need to go to work!

These next two layouts, I use the same idea, but with different pics and get a slightly different result.

Some pics taken yesterday afternoon after the rain. These are only small pics not meant to be enlarged.

This is a canvas I did for my great-niece Lili. I just had a call from her mother, my niece, and the canvas got there safely and they love it. Bridget is going to hang it on the wall tomorrow!

I am really pleased with how it turned out.

Well, it's just gone 4p.m. and we are still having the most wonderful thunder storm complete with lightning and hail and of course rain!!!! wish my camera was waterproof so i could get out in it!!!!

side tracked

Well we are renovating our home. Have just finished our son's room....... hasn't lived here for a few years, but I guess will always "be his room'. It looks fantastic. Anyway, we are up to do doing the playroom/junkroom and my craft room.
What am i doing here......... well i got side tracked!!!! had to get all my scrapping stuff out of the playroom to sort through it...... I found all these wonderful altered books that I used to do before I started scrapping. I am amazed at what I have done.
I have organized a slide show of one of the books..... will do more later.

These photos were taken at the LSS on Friday. They are of Sally and a friend's baby Malachi. He is such a sweetie and Sally and I enjoyed our time with him and his mum!!

Last week we had lunch with my friend. She got her motor bike licence a few months ago. A couple of weeks ago she surprised us and bought a scooter! She is one fantastic "gutsy" woman!

That is something I wished that I had done.

Doesn't she look happy~~!!

Well, it's nearly the weekend and Father's day! The weather here has been crazy! The past couple of days has been almost like summer. Now there are dark clouds rolling in and getting quite cool. I have a busy weekend planned so hopefully I will be able to post again on Monday!
