COOKING

Well, this morning I have cooked a double sponge - amazingly it has turned out. When I have decorated it, I will take a photo to share. I have also made a vanilla slice and it looks great! Will take a photo of that too.
The weather here continues to be depressing - overcast, dull and cold. Although that terrible wind has finally gone.
Hope you all have a good weekend!

This is my great-niece Lili. Isn't she beautiful! I don't get to see her very much as she lives far away from me.

exciting

Well I am very excited (kind of sick eh??!!) about my new purchases! Woolies (Safeway really) had them for 50% so I thought I would buy new ones and throw out the rather "worn" ones I keep on using. Now I just have to wash them all before putting them away. I will leave that for tomorrow.!

This is my latest layout. My DH & GS asleep! Don't they look cute! hehe

This is a serious look by GS!

This is a box that I have just finished decorating. It is 20cmX20cmX15. I am really happy with it :-)

This is a wooden plaque that I have just finished decorating for my grandson - can you guess his name??!! hehe

Hi! Have been planting fruit trees and generally trying to keep the backyard garden tidy while "renovating" it. I will take a couple of photos on the weekend after I plant the rest of the fruit trees. We will have a lemon, 3 kiwi fruit, 3 different kinds of apples, peacherine and an apricot. I think that is all!!
I will also try to upload an updated pic of my grandson, Tyler.

This is the first layout I have done in a while. I am back home now after looking after my darling grandson - who I miss lots! He is such a sweetie!

Here is an updated pic of Tyler when he was about 10 days old..... He LOVES to stay awake at night and sleep during the day.. we will definately have to change that!!!!!

BABY NEWS

Here is our granson Tyler David born on 6/5/08. Of course we think he is perfect!

the fish in this layout is 3D machine embroidered fabric.
This is for Sally's baby shower that is on this Saturday. I am really pleased with the look of it.

VIRUSES

I have been thinking for a couple of weeks about shutting down my blog. You see there are a few people/vandals/idiots that have been trying to upload viruses to my blog! Why........ I have no idea! This is meant to be a happy place!
So I would still like to post here. If you have any thoughts, let me know.

So I have outlined the words in black pen. I think it gives the layout a "more finished" look.......... What do you think?

This is my latest layout about DH. It is using the new coredination cardstock. I love the simplicity of this one.
