Well I am very excited (kind of sick eh??!!) about my new purchases! Woolies (Safeway really) had them for 50% so I thought I would buy new ones and throw out the rather "worn" ones I keep on using. Now I just have to wash them all before putting them away. I will leave that for tomorrow.!

Hi! Have been planting fruit trees and generally trying to keep the backyard garden tidy while "renovating" it. I will take a couple of photos on the weekend after I plant the rest of the fruit trees. We will have a lemon, 3 kiwi fruit, 3 different kinds of apples, peacherine and an apricot. I think that is all!!
I will also try to upload an updated pic of my grandson, Tyler.

This is the first layout I have done in a while. I am back home now after looking after my darling grandson - who I miss lots! He is such a sweetie!

Here is an updated pic of Tyler when he was about 10 days old..... He LOVES to stay awake at night and sleep during the day.. we will definately have to change that!!!!!

VIRUSES

I have been thinking for a couple of weeks about shutting down my blog. You see there are a few people/vandals/idiots that have been trying to upload viruses to my blog! Why........ I have no idea! This is meant to be a happy place!
So I would still like to post here. If you have any thoughts, let me know.

So I have outlined the words in black pen. I think it gives the layout a "more finished" look.......... What do you think?

It's my birthday today!

This is any "arty" layout. I enjoy doing these kind. Have just bought a couple of standard roses at the local rose farm. One is yellow and the other is a very deep red. They are for our son & DIL in Hoppers Crossing.

I am starting to scrap my kids baby pics.

This is for my son & daughter-in-law. They purchased a home! I think that is very exciting!

As you can guess, i am loving doing the painted backgrounds! I finished this one yesterday.

The weather is a mixed bag at the moment. Although the day hasn't really got going due to daylight saving........... i hate it! too dark in the morning.

here is a layout that I have just finished. It's Sally & Joseph. I am rather pleased with the outcome. The weather here the last few days has been "ferral"! That's the only word to describe it. It's been blowing a gale since Saturday. At least the washing gets dry in quick time! lol

Taking photographs and gardening

Here are some photos that I took this morning - well the only decent ones.... I am determined to practise more with my camera.

I just love these little guys. I gave the surf lifesaver one (with the green and yellow cap) to DH as he used to be a surf lifesaver.

This proves you can have a chook (of the right kind) and a vegie/herb garden! lol
This is part of a flower stalk that grows about 6foot high.... It must be growing in the right conditions!

Yesterday I did a heap of gardening - weeding, trimming etc. After that was done I planted some new plants and seedlings. I planted coloured silverbeet, baby corn and a very different kind of pumpkin from Diggers. Hopefully they will all grow. I also planted some different coloured gazanias. They look lovely when the sun comes out.

TATTOO

I finally got another tattoo!!! On my right thigh. Is basically the same one as Pink has on her left thigh. It took about 1 3/4 hours! i am very pleased with how it looks!

Sorry I have been a bit slack these past couple of weeks. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and a great start to 2008! The weather has been very unpredictable - going from very hot to nice in one day! I will upload some Christmas pics later on. Next week hopefully will get back to some kind of normalacy!

today i got a new hairdo! will have to take a pic to show you. Tonight is DH work Christmas party that I organized. Hope it turns out well. I will let you know. The weather here lately has been terrible and very unpredictable. We have had a couple of really hot days, but today is lovely. Haven't managed any more scrapping yet. We put up the Christmas decs this morning and our home looks lovely thanks mainly to DH!!!!

I am still working full time at the moment, but soon will come to an end. Today was so darn hot!!! It was 35C here and that is way too hot for me~~~~
